Office Reservationist/Sales Representative

Sail Acadia is seeking candidates with previous office and computer experience for our busy boat charter business in Southwest Harbor, Maine. Excellent customer service and communication skills are required, and attention to detail is a must.
This position includes scheduling tours and interacting with customers and crew for various boats from May through October in a friendly, active office environment right at the harbor.

Sailboat and/or Lobsterboat Captain

Sail Acadia seeks experienced Captains to operate Nature and Lobster Boat Tours aboard a classic 33′ wooden lobster excursion vessel and to take guests sailing aboard classic wooden Friendship Sloops around the waters of Acadia National Park.
Captains may assist with regular tours, private charters, water taxis to the Cranberry Islands, trips to Great Duck Island, and sailing tours around Mount Desert Island.

- USCG License required
- Captain experience preferred
- Local knowledge and interest in nature/history preferred

Sailboat Crew and/or Lobsterboat Tour Guide-Naturalist

Location: Southwest Harbor, ME
Work on the water with Sail Acadia aboard Friendship Sloop sailboats and our Lobster Tour Boat/Water Taxi while sharing knowledge of nature and the history of Mount Desert Island.
Ideal candidates are friendly, enthusiastic, reliable, professional, and knowledgeable about the natural history and wildlife of MDI and Acadia National Park.
- Customer service experience preferred
- Boating experience is a plus
- Maintenance skills are a plus
- Team spirit, reliability, and a positive attitude are required
